Sudip Majumdar, COMPACT MEMBRANE SYSTEMS CTO
Dr. Sudip Majumdar is a membranologist with more than 30 years of experience in developing new and improved membranes and separation technologies.
Dr. Majumdar joined Compact Membrane Systems (CMS) in 2002 and currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer of the company. His responsibilities at CMS include new technology, application and product development, management, supervision and coordination of a team of scientists and engineers. For his key role in the development of novel membrane technology for olefin-paraffin separation, Dr. Majumdar has been recognized with the 2016 ICIS Alpha Innovator of the Year Award. He also led the development and successful commercialization of a new membrane based oil dehydration technology which has received ‘TechConnect National Innovation Award’ for two years in a row.
Dr. Majumdar is a named inventor of 6 US patents. He has published over 30 articles and 2 book chapters and presented at numerous national and international conferences.
