Who are we?

CIEX – The Chemical Innovation Exchange is an international conference that explore cutting edge innovation in the rapidly evolving chemical industry. Connecting innovators with investors, potential customers and budget holders, we enable our delegates to share, collaborate, explore and experiment. CIEX is chemical innovation event organized by Merlien Institute.

We obtain information about you in the following ways:
Information you give us directly
For example, we may obtain information about you when you book conference tickets, contact us via web form, request access to conference presentations and videos or when you register to receive one of our newsletters, promotions, special offers and other marketing communications.

When you interact with us on social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter we may obtain information about you (for example, when you publicly tag us in conference picture or post). The information we receive will depend on the privacy preferences you have set on respective social media platform.

  • your credit card details. If you book conference tickets, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online transactions and processing of credit/debit card transactions;

  • Processing online orders that you have submitted;

a) Access, Correction, Deletion
We respect your privacy rights and provide you with reasonable access to the Personal Data that you may have provided through your use of the Services. If you wish to access or amend any other Personal Data we hold about you, you may contact us any time by emailing us at Events@merlien.org. Based on your request, we will delete or update your information in our database.
b) Navigation Information
You may opt out from the collection of navigation information about your visit to the Site by Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out feature.
