Sergio Treichler is Executive Director of Federchimica – the Chemical Industry Association in Italy – as Responsible of the Technical&Scientific Department. Before, he was active in the Venture Capital Industry, funding several high tech start ups such as “Genset S.A.”, in Paris, listed at NASDAQ and Member of the Advisory Board of the “European Medical Ventures S.A.”, based in Luxembourg. He worked for the World Bank at the “Uganda’s First Sovereign and Venture Capital Fund” and for the U.N.I.D.O. in Mexico for the “Estado de Guanajuato V.C. Fund”. He has been Member of the “EC’s “7th R&D Advisory Group on SMEs” in Bruxelles and Member of “O.E.C.D.”’s “Business Committee Advisory on Chemicals” in Paris; now he is Member of the “Research & Innovation Programme Council” at C.E.F.I.C. – the European Council of the Chemical Industry, in Bruxelles. He is Director of Centro Reach S.r.l. (a regulatory affairs company of Federchimica) based in Milan, and Member of the Board of Certiquality S.r.l. (certification & standardization), in Milan. He is a Business Angel with investment in SwyMe Holding BV, Amsterdam (videoconferincing) and Recmir S.r.l., Genoa – I (Rare Earths revovery). Sergio is commited to the CSR too, being founder of “MAN.SE.F. Onlus,” an NGO active in Brazil and in Africa.
