Head of Unit Substance Identification and Data Sharing
Jos Mossink is a senior manager with ample experience in working with professionals and change management. In his current position he is the Head of Unit for Substance Identity and Data Sharing at European Chemical Agency and responsible for the handling notifications for substances in process development and research.
He joined European Chemicals Agency’s Risk Management Directorate as the Senior Scientific Officer for Risk Management in May 2011, and has, since February 2012, contributed to the preparations for the Biocidal Products Regulation as acting Head of Unit for Biocides. In August 2012, he became the Head of Unit Classification.
Prior to ECHA, he was with a Dutch contract research organisation, most recently in a management position in the area of risk assessment of chemicals and foodstuffs.
He holds MSc degree in chemical engineering from the University of Twente and a Master of Information Management from Tilburg University.
