Alastair Barnfield joined Johnson Matthey in July 2018 as Director of IT Architecture as part of a new leadership team in the IT department. Alastair brings over 30 years experience across a wide range of industries and is key to building up the architecture and innovation practice within JM IT. Alastair has worked in UK and foreign governments, aviation, retail, banking and manufacturing designing key features and services for such programmes as London 2012 Olympics, UK & Foreign Border Immigration Security, eVisa solutions, Biometric Authentication for airports and airlines globally, Chip and PIN for global retail organisations.
