Norbert Maleschitz,Norbert started his career in the lead acid battery business in 1991 at Banner Batteries in Austria. He holds a bachelor degree in chemical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration. At Banner he held several positions in Research and Development and in 2005 he was appointed to the Technical Director with responsibilities in production, maintenance, quality management and research & development. In 2012 he received the International Lead Award from the ILA and in 2013 he joined Exide Technologies as a Vice President of Research & Development EMEA with responsibilities for the Transportation as well as the Industrial Battery Business.
