Dr. Ralf Pillep, Covestro Head of Portfolio Management Order
Head of Program Management Order Processes & Global Process Owner with Covestro GmbH, Leverkusen, a subsidiary of Covestro AG.
After completing his Ph.-D. in Production planning at the University of Aachen, he joined the Logistics Consultancy department of Bayer AG. Afterwards, he took on positions with increasing responsibility in Business Consulting, Supply Management and Product Management. He is currently working at the Supply Chain Center EMEA of Covestro AG in Leverkusen. Covestro’s four Supply Chain Centers are the hubs for handling the transactional Order to Cash process in all regions.
In his role as Global Process Owner, he is responsible for global process design, as well as implementing and adhering to order-to-cash process standards in the EMEA / LATAM, APAC and NAFTA regions. He is also responsible for the portfolio of order management optimization projects at Covestro. Currently, Dr. Pillep is on a short-term assignment to the Supply Chain Center in Hong Kong.
