Dr. Markus Armbruster, BASF Head of Innovation Academy
Markus is part of BASF Management Consulting and is heading BASF’s Innovation Academy. The global team of innovation design experts supports, enables and connects people to drive innovation capabilities via group wide comprehensive innovation project support, learnings and events. The approach is insight driven, collaborative and interactive. As of today, thousands of colleagues joined the offers of the Innovation Academy worldwide. Markus holds a PhD in science of ETH Zurich, a master’s degree in chemistry of the TU Munich and a master’s degree in economics of the FernUniversität Hagen. He was working in the corporate development of Süd-Chemie/Clariant and the start-up entity of BASF. For several years, Markus was living in the United States of America and supported as a strategist growing the global battery material business unit for BASF. His passion is bringing people together to go beyond limits and jointly create value. He is convinced that visualization is a key method hereby – that’s why he is certified visual facilitator and graphic recorder.
