Dr. Eric Bischof, Covestro VP Corporate Sustainability
Eric Bischof studied chemistry at the RWTH Aachen and holds a Ph.D. in natural science. He has more than 25 years of experience in the chemical industry, including positions in manufacturing, product management, supply chain management and business process redesign. He has lived and worked in Europe, USA and in China. He is the inventor of the energy efficiency methodology licensed under the trade name STRUCTese. Eric headed the Sustainability initiative Chemie³ of the German chemical association, which was highlighted as an exemplary initiative by the German Council for Sustainable Development (RNE) in its report to the German federal government in the fall of 2013. Today Eric Bischof serves as Vice President Corporate Sustainability at Covestro. He is married and has 3 children.
