Dr. Bernd Vogel, BECKERS GROUP Chief Technology Officer, Germany
Dr. Bernd Vogel is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Beckers Group. His responsibility lies at the global group level for innovation, sustainability and new businesses. Previous to that, he was the Managing Director and Board Member at SGL-Lindner from 2012 to 2015 and the Boston Consulting Group’s Global Chemicals and Operations Practice from 2009 to 2012. From 2002 to 2009, he was involved in various roles within Evonik Industries including General Management – Director Strategy / New Business Development, Acrylic Monomers and Plant Manager. Dr. Vogel has received the Evonik Innovation Award for ‘New and Improved Processes’ (Aveneer®) and has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Bayer AG Leverkusen/ Department of Technical Chemistry I at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
