Dr. Frank-Andreas Hatzack, Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies

Senior Executive Advisor

Having worked for 20 years in industrial and agricultural biotech, Frank is now a Senior Executive Advisor at the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies – an independent not for profit think tank with over 40 years in advising industry and public organizations on scenario based strategy and innovation. Founded in 1970 by Professor Thorkil Kristensen, former OECD Secretary-General and Danish Minister of Finance, the work of the Institute is interdisciplinary, including economics, political science, ethnography, psychology, engineering, public relations and sociology.

Frank comes from a position as Head of Innovation Development at Novozymes where he was responsible for front-end innovation programs and technology scouting. Frank has a keen interest in predictive analytics and collective intelligence to accelerate innovation.

He holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the Free University of Berlin.
